The were announced mere hours ago, and already the TV landscape is shaking out into winners and losers. Which is a shame in one way — awards shows should be a celebration of all that’s great about TV! — but in another way is totally expected. For every Game of Thrones stomping its way through the drama categories there’s an Orange Is the New Black experiencing the icy cold shoulder of rejection. So who were the big winners this morning? Netflix The streaming giant had their best Emmy year ever with 54 total nominations. Those nominations includes Best Series citations for House of Cards, Master of None, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, plus big showings for Making a Murderer and Chef”s Table. Download Mod Sholat Di Gta San Andreas Pc.  And don’t forget A Very Murray Christmas, which managed to snag a nomination for Best TV Movie, where it will rub shoulders with the likes of ‘s All the Way and Confirmation and Brit imports Luther and Sherlock.

Netflix Crackle

With the marketplace for streaming more crowded than ever, took a big step in front of their competition. Amazon had a good day with its prize series Transparent, which pulled in 10 nominations, including notices for creator Jill Soloway and actors Jeffrey Tambor, Gaby Hoffmann, and Judith Light.

And the Outstanding Writing nomination for Catastrophe should not be overlooked. That’s a great get for such a small show, and it will hopefully push more attention towards Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney’s relationship comedy. But Amazon’s other big series pushes, for The Man in the High Castle and Mozart in the Jungle, fizzled, as did ‘s push for The Path, which couldn’t even get traction for three-time Emmy winner Aaron Paul. Meanwhile, even despite, Netflix’s Bloodline snagged consecutive nominations for Kyle Chandler and Ben Mendelsohn, despite the latter’s character not being alive for the entire second season. HBO’s Three Top Shows (and Nothing Else) Game of Thrones dominated the Drama Series nominations in a way that we haven’t seen since The Sopranos.

That’s the only drama I can remember significantly expanding its footprint in the acting categories in its sixth season the way GoT did today. In its earliest seasons, Peter Dinklage and Emilia Clarke were the standard bearers for the show’s cast, and that was that. This year, Lena Headey nabbed her third straight nomination (and is probably the favorite to win) in Supporting Actress, and Kit Harrington and Maisie Williams got their first-ever nominations after six years. One can certainly quibble with how deserving these particular cast members were this year — to my mind, only Headey did Emmy-worthy work, and how Williams got in over Sophie Turner is a depressing mystery — but it’s a remarkable show of strength. Similarly, the comedy categories were dominated by HBO’s Veep and Silicon Valley, which not only picked up Comedy Series and acting nominations (including first-timers Matt Walsh and Thomas Middleditch) but pulled in a whopping 9 of 13 writing/directing nominations in comedy. And great news for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver which looks poised to win the Variety Series award. That said, it’s a major drop-off for HBO series once you get past the big three.

Girls, The Leftovers, Vinyl, Show Me a Hero, True Detective all came up empty. Some of those snubs were more expected than others, but they don’t help the perception that HBO is facing a vacuum once Game of Thrones ends. Crackle, and LouisCK.net How about that Crackle!

Interpreter Preparation Program Ccbc Dundalk. Crackling sounds when playing Netflix. It can be quite frightening to be honest as the crackle can be rather loud and I do worry it's damaging the speakers.

One of the morning’s biggest surprises saw Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Jerry Seinfeld’s self-explanatory Crackle series, getting an Outstanding Variety Series nomination, besting such stalwart series as The Daily Show and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (not to mention highly acclaimed and deserving Full Frontal with Samantha Bee). And how about a little shout out to LouisCK.net, which distributed the acclaimed Horace & Pete. There were some who thought H&P might be able to score bigger nominations after it was so beloved by critics, but its hurdles proved to high to clear. But still, a Guest Actress nomination for Laurie Metcalf at least puts the show on the Emmy map and proves that there is a path to Emmy success that doesn’t include TV networks OR streaming platforms. FX After Game of Thrones, the morning’s big winners in terms of nomination totals were limited series The People v.

Simpson and Fargo, which tied for second with 22 nominations apiece, as FX set a basic cable record with 56 total noms. The shows combined for ten acting nominations — Cuba Gooding Jr.

Nominated over Oscar Isaac; YOU defend it — and nearly shut down the Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie category, getting five of the six slots (poor Hugh Laurie in The Night Manager, fighting for his life). And yet STILL no room for Connie Britton’s vulgar burlesque as Faye Resnick in O.J.? Sometimes we don’t deserve nice things. The Americans and Black-ish The Emmys as an institution know what they like and stick to it. And usually, they know what they like or don’t like right away. Which means if you’re a show with big critical support and a lot of buzz and the Emmys ignore you after your first season there’s not much hope for subsequent seasons. This was the story of The Wire, and how every year cries about its superiority fell on deaf Emmy ears.

Either they like you or they don’t. In rare cases, though, shows do make the leap midway through their run. Friday Night Lights was the most recent example, where the fourth and fifth seasons of that show suddenly caught voters’ notice, and Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler finally got nominated (hell, Chandler won). This year, The Americans finally made the leap.

After three seasons of deafening critical praise and yet not being able to get arrested by the Emmys, the FX series reaped a windfall, with five nominations in total, including Best Drama, Best Actor (Matthew Rhys) and Best Actress (Keri Russell). Similarly, Black-ish got a nomination for Anthony Anderson last year, but not much else. This year, the Emmys’ love only increased.

The show got a Comedy Series nomination, and in one of the brightest spots on the ballot, Tracee Ellis Ross got nominated for Actress in a Comedy. Robot This was not, in general, a big year for new series at the Emmys. The hottest new show — O.J. — was in the limited-series realm, so that’s part of it. But in general, the Emmys did not warm up to too many new shows. Master of None (4 nominations) was one exception, but the best-received new show was, as many expected, Mr. Rami Malek was nominated in Best Actor — where, honestly, he might be the favorite to win; it’s a wide open race — and the show got Best Drama and Best Writing nominations.

Best news of the day! RuPaul’s Drag Race has been underrewarded by the Emmys for too long, and finally, RuPaul herself was nominated as Outstanding Reality Host. Watch your back, Steve Harvey and Tom Bergeron.
